After the re-launch under new management in August 2007, the Dog and Partridge has a new menu serving lunches from 12noon – 2pm on Tuesday through to Sunday and evening meals from 7.00pm – 9.00pm Wednesdays to Saturday and families are most welcomed. Wednesday nights offer Fish and Chips at a special price, Thursday night the special price is offered on Steaks and on Sunday Lunch we offer a traditionally cooked roast with all the trimmings.

Evening entertainment includes skittles on Mondays, dominos on Tuesdays and every other Wednesday cribbage. Monthly quiz nights take place on the second Sunday of every month starting at 8pm.  

There is an excellent range of beers and cask ale, usually 2 guest and 2 regular beers and a good selection of wines.

The pub was completely refurbished in September 2005 which has left an ‘old world atmosphere with a modern touch'. It has separate dining and bar areas. During the winter it has open fires every evening. The refurbishment included full accessibility with braille signage, wheelchair accessible bar, separate parking spaces and there is a beer garden with covered seating areas.
