Results of the Titchmarsh Parish Council Election Parish Council elections were held on 5th May 2011, and the turn out from Titchmarsh was a very healthy 67%
After a close run contest, and no fewer than four re-counts to determine the fate of the second losing candidate, the final results were announced as follows:

Results of the Referendum on the voting system for United Kingdom parliamentary elections
In addition to the Parish Council Elections, Titchmarsh parishioners voted in the referendum on the voting system of UK parliamentary elections.
The Question put forwards is as follows:
'At present, the UK uses the ‘first past the post’ system to elect MPs to the House of Commons. Should the ‘alternative vote’ system be used instead?'
