Titchmarsh Flower & Vegetable Show

The annual Flower and Vegetable Show is held on the second Saturday in August. Towards the end of July Show schedules are distributed to every house in the village, inviting entries of home grown flowers, fruit and vegetables, cooking and handicrafts.

Last years Show was popular, there were splendid flowers, a wide range of vegetables including some enormous cabbages, herbs, arrangements and handicraft exhibits on show; the judges job was not an easy one! Click here for the 2010 Trophy winners and full results (in Acrobat PDF format*)

The classes remain more or less the same each year, you can view details of last year's classes by clicking on vegetables, fruit flowers and home produce or handicraft and children's classes.   

The afternoon is rounded off with an auction of donated Show produce, excellently conducted by Bletsoe’s auctioneer James Sealy. A good day and an ideal opportunity to support local growers and buy local produce.
