Position Vacant for Model Railway Enthusiast

Help Required with Layout

Hidden in a garden shed somewhere in Dryden's Close is a work of modern art. Not a painting or sculpture - nor even a rebuilt classic car. This artwork is far more practical than that. For the last who-knows-how-many years, local resident and Parish Councillor Bert Ash has been building a huge model railway layout. He has put it together, piece by tiny piece, with such care and detail that it deserves to be on permanent display. Unfortunately, Bert recently underwent a knee operation and isn't as mobile as he once was. Now he needs some help. As he says in his own words:

Due to a recent operation I am finding it difficult to continue with my railway layout.  I am looking for a person or persons who would be willing to help with further development of the layout.

If you have an interest in model railways and have some time to spare, Bert would be very happy to hear from you. All enquiries should be directed to Bert at: bert.ash@btinternet.com.
