    More Boobs and Brass

    Saturday 13th May, 2017 Starts 7:00pm
A couple of years ago, local resident June Dove arranged a very special concert in the Church. The event was held in aid of an Alzheimer/Dementia society which at the time had given support to a close member of June's family. The star attraction of the evening was Boobs and Brass - an "all ladies" brass band. The 30+ musicians, dressed in their distinctive pink blazers, played to a packed house and put on a barnstorming performance which at times threatened to blow the roof off the church. For those of us lucky enough to be there it was truly a night to remember. Well, the good news is they're coming back!
