The Lunch Club, formed late in 2005, holds lunches once a month in the Clubroom. It's a very informal occasion where we all bring some food (casseroles, quiche or similar) which we then share. Potatoes and salad are provided. The food is all put out - buffet-style - and everyone helps themselves. The idea is to enjoy the company of others while sharing a simple lunch - it is not about fancy gourmet fare!

We bring our own refreshment and each person attending is asked to pay £1.50 towards the cost of rental of the hall, tea, coffee etc. We hope people will arrive about 12:45 to eat at 1pm.

If you are interested in joining us, please contact Sylvia McNeely at 14 Chapel St or Anne Howe at 2 High St.  We like to know, in advance, how many are coming so that we can organise tables and chairs and to balance up the food between savoury dishes and sweets.
