In January 2005, a comprehensive questionnaire
on a wide range of topics was delivered to every house within the parish.
We received responses from 77% of the households and from 331 adults and
66 children, representing 75% of the adult population and 54% of children
living in the village. Work was then undertaken to collate and analyse
the statistics and to produce the written Parish Plan and Action Plan.
This has now been completed. A full copy
of the Plan, containing all of the statistics, the
Action Plan and the various attachments,
has been sent to the following:
Titchmarsh Parish Council
East Northamptonshire
Council
Northamptonshire County
Council
Phil Hope, our Member
of Parliament
Northamptonshire ACRE
(Action with Communities in Rural England)
Copies of the Plan are available for viewing
at the Wheatsheaf Pub and the Dog and Partridge Pub. The clerk to the
Parish Council, Jane Teague, will be pleased to provide anyone interested
with a photocopy of the full Plan and Action Plan. Her e-mail address
is parishclerk@titchmarsh.info
