Titchmarsh Ladies Rounders Team

Titchmarsh Ladies Rounders was formed at least 25 years ago, when the village would field two teams in the Kettering Ladies Rounders League. Over the years another breakaway league was formed and this became the Northampton League. Times change and due to lack of players we now have just one team, in the Northants League.

Currently our team consists of 12 women (aged 15 to 60!). We all practice regularly during the season and our captain selects the team each week, usually rotating players so we all get match play experience.

New members are always welcome and we can never have enough supporters. We play on the Village Playing Fields on Wednesday nights at 6.30pm but as we also have away matches just make a phone call to check if we are playing at home. The season usually runs from mid April to end of August so please come along.

2004 saw Titchmarsh Ladies come 2nd in the Northants League with Thrapston just beating them for 1st position on the number of rounders scored during the season.
