Most of the local services are to be found in Thrapston, such as GP surgeries and health clinics, the Police Station, Library and shops. The nearest Accident and Emergency Department is at Kettering General Hospital.

Weekly markets are held in Thrapston High Street on Tuesday and in Oundle Marketplace on Thursday, where fresh produce, including fish, can be purchased. A Farmers' Market is held in Oundle on the second Saturday of each month.

There are many services delivered into the village, such as newspapers, groceries, milk and eggs. East Northamptonshire Council are responsible for the refuse collection service and are actively involved in recycling.
