The first business
plan for the shop was put together in July 2006, and developed over
the following three months to its final version which appears here. The
plan sets out the history of the project, the market drivers, the people
needs, the
range of produce expected to be sold, the premises and capital spend required,
the funding of the project and its forecast trading and cash flows.
The plan includes sensitive data on the membership
of the committee and the detailed financial projections which are excluded
from this pdf file. Any villager wishing to see the full edition is welcome

In May 2007 the Management Committee issued
an update to the Business Plan which summarised
the activity from November 2006 to May 2007 when the lease was signed
and the building work had commenced. This in particular set out the latest
estimates of capital required and the funding in place to meet it.
