We have been
pleased to be advised by Welland SSP Ltd, part of the East Midlands Development
Association, that a grant of £20,000 will be given by them towards the
capital build costs of the engine house. This is subject to contract which
the management committee are expected to sign up to during the month of
August. This
completes the funding requirement for the building works and allows us
to proceed to the fitting out in early September. We are grateful to Jacki
Shorley and the members of Welland SSP for the assistance they have given
us in making this application.
